Since 1999, the Shirley Sports & Social Association have held a Music Festival in the village to raise funds for the upkeep and future development of our sports field and facilities, which are enjoyed by the local community and other groups. The 2008 Festival was held on Saturday 21st June and was successful despite the poor weather.
