Shirley Sports & Social Association

The sports field is the hub of our activities. The field is used regularly for football by local leagues. It also includes a cricket square which is used throughout the summer months by Brailsford & Ednaston Cricket Club. In recent years we have added new facilities including new goal posts, a kitchen, changing rooms, storage and toilet facilities. Future development plans include adding showers to the changing rooms, landscaping the site, and continuing with a plan of routine maintenance to the ground.



			Regular field maintenance work includes marking out the pitch, cutting the grass with our tractor and gang-mowers and generally ensuring that the facilities are kept fit for use. This all takes considerable effort and we would welcome any additional support or sponsorship.



	The field can be hired for sports or social purposes by arrangement with the Shirley Sports and Social Management Team. We will be pleased to cater for your specific needs.
